The city is also home to a variety of outdoor attractions and landmarks that contribute to the lodge's demand. There is an attractive waterfront for strolling and enjoying nearby restaurants as well as a variety of shops and restaurants in the city center. If you don't want to have to deal with the cost of parking downtown, the area of the Tacoma Mall is great, and there are plenty of private parking options on the airport grounds. Seattle Line 1 serves the airport, but Tukwila Station is about 5 miles east of the airport. Cascades is served by the Cascade Line, while Port Tacoma Airport and Tacoma Terminal Station are also within walking distance.
