But sometimes the teachers are not very forgiving when the kids make bad choices.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2007-09-09 “My daughter has been attending Park Lodge for 5 years now. During those years I have found that some years were better for her than others. Depending on the teacher, it can make a difference. As far as learning, resources, school perks, communication and a well thought out and clean public school, Park Lodge Elementary is one of the best. There is a lot of parent involvement within the school and my daughters teacher has made many efforts to talk to me about her class progress. She was on there for 2 months and I pulled her out. She would come home crying because the teacher would say they had the worse class ever. They couldn't go to gym class because her class was so bad. I went and volunteered and there was no structure in the classroom, it was all choatic. During a math test, kids were being so loud and were able to walk around and talk to one another. I could not believe it. The teacher was so sarcastic to the children. That is all I needed to see and I pulled her out the next day! My opionion of the school is that it is just terrible. I witnessed one teacher keeping her lights off in the classroom for extended periods of time to keep the children quiet and the principle came on the loud speaker at the end of the day and praised children for walking down the hallways quietly.
