Bethel High School Reviews

This school is full of teachers who really do not care at all about the students and there learning. I am so disappointed as a parent that even when you do try hard to be involved in your childs learning and whats going on the teachers and staff almost try to make it impossible to contact them

5 years on federal failing list. 5 years failing WASL. Bottom of districts in washington state. Groing gang activity. High crime rate

Bethel High School is lacking both in leadership and security. If you have a problem getting to talk to the Principal is almost impossible. The Principal hasn't any idea what her frontline staff is doing to help children with problems that occur. Theft is high and accepted as that's just the way it is. Car security is non existent. High risk children are abundant. Home school would be a better choice. Music Classes are not good.

Poor student behavior. Campus safety to friendly with students.

Decent academics but scores and over all results lower than other district high school.

This school is the reason that I asked to be homeschooled. Most of the kids cannot read to their grade level, they cram the kids in there like a college studen crams their finals, and the kids there harass the ones who have a decent gpa to the point of suicidal tendancies.

This school is great as far as extracurricular activities. The sports are of high caliber, as are the fine arts programs. The fine arts programs, including drama, video productions, art and band, all are poorly recognized, however, as sports get far more support from school officials. It is only until this year, with a new principal, has the drama department gotten so much as a memo congratulating them on their hard work from anyone of authority. I am disgusted at this school's lack of leadership.

Bethel High School is wonderful. Their band is phenomenol, as are their sports teams. As for academics, these students are doing outstanding things and excelling in everything, if they choose to. The Principals and staff really care and do the best they can. Parent involvement seems to be lacking, but in this day and age its great just to see families enjoy the Bethel Braves football games. This district is growing by leaps and bounds and they have managed to do great things with a limited income. I myself always like to remind parents that your children can only do as well as you expect them to. I don't think schools should be blamed for childrens poor choices. It all starts at home, and parents should support their school by learning and understanding what the school expects of their children. Thank you Team Bethel! and Congratulations Ms. Riley, you'll be great!
