I am a self-proclaimed geek, and my surety of this is only intensified by some of these tests. I've been told I'm kinda intimidatingly smart (and tall- stupid genetics) and kinda quiet- but hey, if I do say something, you know it's gonna be good. Like George of the Beatles, I don't say anything unless I have something to say. And you can bet I'm right, too. So, to sum it up, I'm smart, confident, and honest. Brutally so. And maybe a wee bit cocky, but I prefer the term confident.

Describing your self is difficult as I have read so many profiles it seems that what ever is written we men tend to lie about who we are, (from the perspective of womenâ??s profiles) not sure how to interject the honesty in my description but honesty is truly at the core of what most people want and need, from that breeds communication. I have been told that I do that well but also been told I am too honest. Hot sure how to deal with that one. But that is who I am, yes honesty sometimes hurts yet I will never hurt you or anyone intentionally. I am a true Pisces, laid back easygoing. It takes alot to get me riled. I love to be affectionate, and love affection. I seek knowledge all the time and am constantly learning. I have always had a natural ability to figure out how things work, and then fix them. I love to build just about anything. I have built my own house in the past. And after getting my first computer a few years ago (did not even know how to turn it on) I now build and repair mine and friends all the time.
I love the outdoors and to be near water as often as possible. I love camping and hiking but am not into any thing extreme. I have had a life long love of photography. I love the arts and have been involved in theater in the past.
I do not agree completely with the personality awards I think I am more socially free than they tend to lead you to believe. I am very much a centrist politically and would love to debate the issues with you while always respecting your views. I do what I can to be green and would love to do more.

I'm a creator, and a bit of a collector. The main things that I create and collect are stories. Unfortunately, I'm not the best story teller, although I think I'm better than I once suspected.

I seem to be a romantic at heart, even though I'm quite rational-minded. I think I'm poetic, but I don't write poetry or lyrics. However, when I speak, I try to say things in a way that flows well, and if it doesn't, it will bother me, which usually ends with me repeating what I just said with improved wording.

I usually procrastinate rather well, and even better when I'm stressed (which typically doesn't improve whatever I'm stressed about). However, I seem to have a better work ethic than most people, although I have been known to say that I should do something, then not doing it. Usually I'm talking to my supervisors as I say this, then hanging out with them as they, too, proceed to do nothing. Funny thing is, it pisses me off. It'd be nice to work for a well-run company again.

I've recently realized that I'm a private person. Although I'm more talkative than I used to be, I rarely talk about myself, and if you hear me talk about my problems (including my emotions regarding them), you are likely either real close to me, or about to die. Oh, and it's extremely rare for me to be that close to someone. I can count the amount of people that I'm that close to on one hand.

I once had a person I was sitting next to one a plane ask me if I was a gamer, so I guess I carry myself like one. She was talking about D&D and the like (which is Dungeons and Dragons), and although I immediately answered yes, I was somewhat surprised at this, since the term is now usually used for those who play video games. However, I used to play both, and now do again, so the difference is moot. It's a nice reason to hang out with friends.

Okay, I find that I am always adding or deleting something on my profile.. Its always changing... I am not on this site looking for sex, I'm a girl, I can have sex with any of my male friends. I'm a big Chicago Bears fan. I've been for as long as I can remember. I didn't think Grossman was too bad, he did lead the Bears to the Super Bowl. I'm very excited of the acquisition of Jay Cutler. He and Greg Olsen, Matt Forte, Devin Hester are going to lead the offense to new territories. It will be a great offense to see. I actually have a front row seat for the Sept. 27th Bears-Seahawks game, on the Bears' sideline. I'm looking forward to seeing that.

I've been playing guitar since I was 13, so it's been approximately 14 years. I haven't practiced as much in the past couple of years, so I'm a bit rusty, but it only takes a week or two to build my chops up.

I drive a 91' Ford Mustang LX 5.0. It's just an automatic. I bought it as a work car. It runs very strong. I would like to get an 87' to 93' GT 5.0 again; with the 5 speed of course. Fast little cars. I had an 87' Z28 IROC-Z with the factory 5speed and ttops for 6 years and finally had to sell it last summer. That was an awesome car. Tuned Port Injection motors were pretty hot at the time.

I'm a movie buff. I have a knack from remembering movie titles and the actors in them. Robert De Niro is my favorite actor. He has great range. Martin Scorsese is my favorite director. Paul Thomas Anderson and Wes Anderson are good directors too.

I have many interests and struggle to find time for them. I enjoy being outdoors with friends. I like going on simple walks, but I also like to get up into the mountains for more strenuous hikes when time permits. Well an instant summary, where to start. I went to school on the east side of lake Washington in Seattle, I very out going and want to travel alot and enjoy the world outside. I am me, plain and simple. I act different on different days of the week. Lets face it, everyone has good and bad days. I love watching movies, listenin to music, and hanging out with the friends. Some days, I like to be a loner, and be by myself. I am a professional by day, and freak by night. well, i like all sorts of things like riding bikes and eating vegan food and drinking ice water and reading complicated books. i talk very fast and smile very big. my shoes are cute and my hair is tufty.

I like to spend my evenings after work hanging out with my friends finding new ways or the same old ways to enjoy myself. I play drums in The Cutwinkles, a comedy band that explores various genres such as pop-punk, general rock, and whatever sounds good to us and our friends. I also like to take a break from all the excitement and just sit around with a good movie or video game. But Mostly i just like to party!!!

I 'm not very good at these "self-summary" things, but I'll try....

I'm a hard-working, loveable, huggable man that has just decided that it's time to change gears and steer a new course. I've been involved actively in the transportation industry for over 20 years now, being everything from a student driver to owning my own small fleet of trucks for awhile. But I've gotten tired of living out of a suitcase and it's time to find the woman who, like me, isn't done with life just yet. I believe in honesty and integrity, aand have old-fashioned ways of doing some things since I was raised in the Midwest and lived there for 40-some years. I have a total of 3 grown children, my 23-yr old son who's stationed right here at Ft Lewis (and is my best friend), and 2 daughters who for some strange reason, don't want to have anything to do with Dad now that one is almost 30 and the other "knows everything" since she graduated from college (HaHa!) I'm patient with them. They'll come around.

I like to do some usual things, like take long walks, camp out even in the winter, walk and sit along the beach or shoreline, sit quietly and just let the sounds of nature calm my soul, listen to the song that's been running through my head since I woke up that morning. But I also do some "extreme" things, too. I like to go fast in race cars (not on the street but on "closed course" racing facilities) and admit to going 167 mph in an old front-engine dragster - upside down! I haven't been sky-diving for a very long time but could be persuaded by the right person to go again. Scuba also has caught my fancy since I now live near water.

But, what I'm looking for in a woman.....loyalty, trust, adventurousness, a big sense of humor, liking some of the out-of-the-ordinary things most people do for fun. (Have you ever gone over 167 mph in a race car, or investigated a "haunted house" just for fun?), and integrity and honesty have to be part of the foundation she built her life on, too. And she shouldn't be afraid of PDA. I like to let people know how I feel about my mate and I hope she can reciprocate.

For most of my life I've tended to be bitter, annoyed and inclined toward a cynical outlook on everything in and of this world. The reasons behind this are quite intricate and would take a dissertation to completely outline. This is quite ironic, really, considering the fact that I have dedicated myself to spiritual advancement since childhood. I have undergone a great paradigm shift over the last year and a half and my perspective on life has taken a turn for the better, in my opinion.

I enjoy reading, writing, music, sunshine, hiking, swimming, martial arts, video games, the songs of birds, the fall of rain upon pavement, the ocean surf, great food, and great company.

Though, on the flip side, I see beauty in the "darker" things of life as well - I'm a night person, the full moon is awesome, the howling of the wind through the trees, the creeks of floorboards at night, happy tree friends, autumn is my favorite season, hallowmas is my favorite holiday, I used to evoke Goetic demons when I practiced ceremonial magick, need I go on?

I'm not sure how I would summarize myself. I don't really like to describe myself to others because I'm pretty certain the way I see myself is not at all how others may see me, and thus my description may prove incongruent to how I appear to others. With that being said, most people have pointed out that I have a bizarre, dark sense of humor, a keen intelligence and intellect, an agility that belies my wiry, tall frame, and an affinity to animals domesticated or otherwise.

Recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest from the land of the Phoenix (Georgia, not Arizona) for a change of scenery, pace, attitude and, considering the state of affairs of the world, employment. I love books, stories, writing, dancing and almost any and everything to do with the arts. I am Classically Educated and most of my tastes reflect this. I am not a snob, I simply like what I like, and appreciate everything else based on its virtues and finesse. I love a great many things, and love to share that passion with others.

I'm a bit of a nerd, but have come to terms with that. For a living, I work for a rather large online travel agency. On any given day, I have a variety of job responsibilities but am mostly preoccupied with globalization and international process management. If that sounds vague, believe me, it is. Because it's vague for me too!

I'm a former college student and have completed an AA and am actually rather far along to a second one, though I did not complete final coursework for it. I quit school in 2004 and have been working in the corporate world since then.

In my spare time, I write a great deal and try to be there for my friends. I've also done a teensy bit of open mic stand-up. I don't consider myself particularly humorous, but others apparently do. My sense of humor focuses on absolute absurdity, but balancing it with subtle goofiness.

I listen to nearly any type of music I can and feel that even music I dislike is important to listen to. Art is art, and while I don't have an art, I respect others'. I do enjoy a good movie, with nearly any genre (horror makes me bored usually, however).
